HOW DO I BOOK A RENTAL?

  1. To book a rental item, go to our Rental listings here (note - rental listing prices include the refundable security deposit) : https://aheli.com.au/collections/rentals
  2. Click "Book your time" and select your chosen dates (a standard rental period is 4 days).
  3. Then click "Buy now" and make the payment via our website.
  4. Once confirmed and paid, we will email you with the pick up location from our Sydney studio.

WHY DO I NEED TO PAY A SECURITY DEPOSIT?

We take a fully refundable security deposit, which is included in the rental cost. This deposit will be refunded (to the card used upon purchase), upon the return of the item, provided it is in good condition. We will take photos of the item before we handover to you, to ensure it's in good condition before we give it to you. 

WHAT HAPPENS IF I DAMAGE, SOIL, OR RETURN AN ITEM LATE?

We understand that some wear and tear is inevitable, but renters are responsible for returning the item in good condition. Please refer to the table below for our policies on damage, cleanliness, and late returns:

DO I NEED TO CLEAN OR WASH THE ITEM BEFORE RETURNING IT?

No, we take care of all cleaning, steaming, ironing, and quality checks. This service is included in your rental.

HOW DO I KNOW IF AN ITEM WILL FIT ME?

Shopping online can make it tricky to determine the perfect fit. At Aheli, we recommend carefully reading the item description and estimate Australian sizing. We also can hand adjust the sizing for you, so if you are unsure about sizing, please visit our boutique in Western Sydney (near Parramatta / Blacktown).

Please note that we do not offer refunds, credits, or replacements if an item does not fit.

HOW AND WHEN SHOULD I RETURN MY RENTAL?

You must return the item to our Sydney Studio in Pemulwuy by the agreed return date. Late returns may incur additional fees as per our policy table above. Please communicate with us in advance if you require an extension to avoid late fees.

CAN I TRY ON AN ITEM BEFORE RENTING?

Yes! You can book a try-on session at our Sydney studio in Pemulwuy (15 minutes from Parramatta or Blacktown). If visiting isn’t an option, we are happy to assist with any queries regarding sizing, fit, and styling via text, email or video call. 

IS MY RENTAL READY TO WEAR WHEN IT ARRIVES?

Absolutely! Aheli ensures that every rental is cleaned before and after each use at no additional cost to you. 

CAN I BOOK AN ITEM FOR SOMEONE ELSE?

We do not recommend booking on behalf of someone else, as the renter assumes full responsibility for the care of the item during the rental period.

HOW CAN I BOOK AN ITEM FOR A FUTURE DATE?

All orders are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. If you wish to secure an item for a specific date, please contact us on info@aheli.com.au with your preferred pick-up date. To ensure availability, we recommend making your booking at least one month in advance and avoid disappointment. 

DO YOU OFFER SHIPPING FOR RENTALS?

No, due to the high shipping costs of Indian clothes like lehengas, we do not offer shipping for rentals. All rentals must be picked up at our Sydney Studio in Pemulwuy (15 minutes from Parramatta or Blacktown). However, if you really need the item shipped to your location outside of Sydney, please contact us at info@aheli.com.au and we can provide a quote. 

HOW LONG CAN I RENT AN ITEM?

Our standard rental period is 4 days, starting from the day you pick up the item and ending when you return it to Aheli. For extended rental periods, please contact us on info@aheli.com.au for custom arrangements.
